Design is a process.

Step 1:Give Silver Spot, ink. a call to set up a free consultation
During our initial meeting, we will talk about your project. What are your goals and objectives? Is your purpose marketing, fundraising or branding? Who is your audience? What is your budget? What is the timeline? Do you have specific ideas already in mind in terms of graphics, color, or paper? Will the piece be mailed? These are just a few of the items we will discuss. Silver Spot, ink. will provide you an estimate for the job.

Step 2: Sign a contract
Before moving forward, we sign a contract that outlines the purpose and goals of the project so that we are on the same page. Silver Spot, ink. also requires a deposit upon initiation of the contract. The amount varies according to the project.

Step 3: The designing begins
Silver Spot, ink. will begin work on the designs with the philosophy that we are partners in the process. You will see samples along the way so that you can give your opinion, which is essential to the success of the project. Depending on the project we will go back and forth through a few drafts to finalize the piece.

Step 4: Files are sent to you or a printer
With several connections with a variety of printers, Silver Spot, ink. can facilitate the printing process or use a commercial printer that you prefer.

Step 5: Payment
You will receive an invoice for the work performed to be paid within 30 days.

Tips to keep costs down and make the project run smoothly
- Be honest and up front about what you want
- Choose one person at your organization to handle the project.
- Finalize your text before submitting it to Silver Spot, ink.
- Include key individuals upon seeing the first proofs.
